"Nuove Frontiere Lavoro", in collaboration with the training organization "Idee Insieme" and thanks to the "Formatemp" fund, is publishing an online course for "Sales Assistant in English with a level A2.2 Trinity certificate."

Among the professions indicated by theISFOL, the figure of the is indicatedSales Representative. A professional who collaborates with his or her business to achieve the company's commercial objectives. This professional figure is responsible for managing the sales and orders that the company makes during its daily operations.

A worker capable of adequately managing customers, but also cataloging orders, and much more that concerns the end user of the goods or services produced by the company.

Some soft and hard skills are required that uniquely distinguish this role.

Among these is certainly an in-depth knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, which is certainly a real plus for the resource.

Furthermore, to a sales assistant They are entrusted with highly communicative functions; therefore, this figure must necessarily possess great interpersonal and relational skills.
For the English language, the level identified is that A2.2 which is recognized by the European Framework CEFR (https://www.coe.int/en/web/common-european-framework-reference-languages/reference-level-descriptions)

ObjectivesThe course aims to train professionals with in-depth knowledge of all the main and general tasks of a sales representative in English, from knowledge of the commercial world to practical document management tasks such as orders, insurance, shipping, and advertising.

To promote better employability on the job market, the exam is planned Graded Examinations in Spoken English [(GESE GRADE 4 – CEFR LevelA2.2 – for the assessment of speaking and listening skills (Speaking & Listening).] which the students, at no cost to them, will carry out at the implementing body IDEAS TOGETHER (Trinity College Center Accredited).

At the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • interact with English-speaking interlocutors (customers and suppliers) by asking for and providing personal data, organizing appointments and completing market negotiations;
  • read and write business documents in English email, fax, post-it;
  • manage complaints, provide assistance, analyze and identify customer needs English speakers;
  • promote products and services in English language.

Students will practice listening, comprehension, and production of texts. Multimedia tools will be used in the virtual classroom.

DURATION: 140 HOURS from 07 SEPTEMBER to 30 OCTOBER 2020 – 35 days of VIRTUAL CLASSROOM (Online) for 4 hours;

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: the course is aimed at candidates for temporary work missions (both unemployed and jobless) registered and selected by the Employment Agency;
- for foreigners, knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if NOT certified;
- it is not required a basic knowledge of the English language;
- it is necessary have a desktop PC (desktop), laptop or tablet with stable cable connection (HIND) or wi-fi, webcam and microphone;
- residence or domicile in CAMPANIA is required or the possibility (for residents in other parts of Italy) to be able to come to Naples to take the exam;

CERTIFICATE: of frequency Formatemp (minimum 70% of total hours including attendance at mandatory lessons) which gives access to the exam test GESE – Level A2.2 - TCL to be held at the Idee Insieme headquarters;

CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCE: of Trinity CL, for those who pass the exam;

EXAM COMPLETION REQUIREMENT: on the date set at the end of the course;

PRICE: Both the course and the certification exam are free (financed by Formatemp);

CLASSROOM LESSONS: Monday to Friday for 6 weeks from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm - the remaining 2 weeks for 3 days; only on the first day from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm;

SELECTION METHOD: Access to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:
- Correct submission of the required documentation;
- Analysis of the CV submitted;
- Check the connection devices to be carried out in videoconference;

SELECTIONS: Those who have joined will be contacted by email for confirmation. (by 02/09/2020 at 12:00) of the verification of videoconferencing connection devices scheduled for the day 03/09/2020 from 10.00 onwards in a group.

REGISTRATION: The selected candidates will be contacted by email and telephone. (by 04/09/2020 at 12:00) to attend the first day of the course on the day 07/09/20 at 10.00 on the online platform after sending the entry link;

PROFESSOR: The teacher chosen for the course, a graduate, in addition to having teaching experience in English language courses, is certified AIM AWARDS-ANGLIA – recognized by MIUR – level Advanced Business English (B2).

LISTENING: understand, from listening to short statements to the meaning of the dialogue in order to extract factual information (times, dates, etc.), show appreciation of the speakers' attitudes and intentions.

SPEAKING: interact in situations that simulate authentic communication to ask and understand questions and provide appropriate responses; speak freely to express emotions, reactions, etc.; greet people and respond to greetings (in person and on the phone); introduce oneself; ask for and provide personal details; help others express their ideas by interrupting a conversation; initiate a new topic, change the subject, resume, or continue the topic.
