Nuove Frontiere Lavoro, in collaboration with the training organization Idee Insieme and thanks to the formatemp fund, is publishing a Receptionist course in English with British certification.

Among the professions listed by ISFOL, the receptionist is the one listed. This position welcomes and registers guests at facilities; provides accommodation services; assigns rooms and hands out keys; provides information on the services offered; manages reservations and check-in and check-out procedures, keeps track of available rooms; and performs guest check-out procedures, preparing the relevant documentation. ISFOL identifies the need for foreign languages ​​as one of the main areas for professional development expressed by businesses and, for the period 2014-2018, for the macro-area indicated above, forecasts a 4,8% increase in employment, with an increase in the employment base of 16.046. To promote greater employability in the labor market, a test is planned. B1 ESB – English Speaking Board Students will complete the exam at no cost to themselves at the prestigious British Institutes in Naples, which will issue a certificate of proficiency to those who pass. The English Speaking Board is a certification body recognized by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) pursuant to Ministerial Decree No. 3889 of March 7, 2012.

In compliance with the aforementioned decree, all ESOL International certifications issued by ESB correspond to the CEFR and refer to the Global Scale of the 6 European levels A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2.

They certify the level of linguistic and communicative competence of the candidates in both receptive and productive skills (speaking, writing, listening, reading, use of English), specifying in detail the evaluation for each individual skill.

Learning outcomesThe course aims to provide the appropriate language skills for professionals in the hospitality industry, following a guideline compliant with that outlined by ISFOL. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to manage English-speaking clients, acquiring the following skills:
” customer reception
” analysis and identification of customer needs
” booking management
” receiving and sorting telephone calls
” filling out forms and documents
”compilation of attendance registers
” customer complaint management
” access control to accommodation facilities
” control and custody of customer documents
” taking care of the room assignment
” provide information or assistance to the customer

Students will practice listening, comprehension, and production of texts. Multimedia tools will be used in the classroom.

DURATION: 172 HOURS from June 4th to July 26th 2018 – 04-hour classroom day for 31 days and 6 days of 8 hours

CERTIFICATE: Formatemp attendance (minimum 70% of total hours including attendance at compulsory lessons) which gives access to the B1 ESB – English Speaking Board exam at the British Institutes Napoli Centro.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCE: from the British Institutes Napoli Centro, for those who pass the exam;

CLASSROOM LESSONS: Monday to Friday from 09.30am to 13.30pm - 1 day 13.30pm to 17.30pm and 6 days 09.30am to 13.30pm and 14.00pm to 18.00pm

EXAM COMPLETION REQUIREMENT: on the date set at the end of the course at the British Institutes Napoli Centro;

SELECTION METHODAccess to the course will take place through preliminary steps:
- Analysis of the submitted CV and tax code
- Motivational interview and assessment of BASIC level skills to be carried out at our office;
