"Nuove Frontiere Lavoro", in collaboration with the training organization "Idee Insieme" and thanks to the "Formatemp" fund, publishes a course in "Advertising Photography and Visual Communication" in Naples.
The general contents of the training project are oriented towards understanding the conceptual dynamics aimed at creating images used for advertising communication and knowledge of the advanced rules of professional photography, allowing students to create an advertising photography project from the embryonic stage to printing.
The figure of the advertising photographer They are generally employed within large corporations, advertising firms, or graphic design studios. Advertising photographers must have expertise in photographic techniques and knowledge of the visual arts, as well as an innate creative spirit.
The specific contents of the training course are those relating to the ability to: know how to summarise in the form of image, graphic or illustration, an emotion, a concept, a reasoning; to find and select material; to set up and manage a photographic set; to develop an image until the realization of the advertising project.
TARGETS: At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- To convey an emotion, a concept, a reasoning in the form of an image, graphic or illustration.
- Apply the fundamental techniques of advertising photography and photographic development;
- Set up and manage a photographic set;
- Create an advertising image.
Specifically, students will have acquired the ability to:
- decode the intrinsic messages that underlie visual communication.
- filming people and environments;
- realize still life of products to be marketed;
- create product images for e-commerce;
- plan an advertising campaign, create its images, identify the claim
- quickly post-produce the images you create;
- prepare files for successful printing;
- know the regulations for the protection of privacy and copyright of images;
- identify the right compensation for the work performed;
- analyze and identify the strengths of an advertising image;
- convey the advertising message unambiguously to the identified target.

DURATION: 152 HOURS Since the day 20 February per day APRIL 19, 2024 – 38 days from 4 hours in the classroom in NAPLES.
CERTIFICATE: of frequency (minimum 70% of total hours including attendance at mandatory lessons);
CLASSROOM LESSONS: from Monday to Friday from 09.30am to 13.30pm;
MEMBERSHIPS: To submit your membership you must register FROM THE PC on the site http://www.ideeinsieme.it/index.php/register | and, once you have uploaded your personal documents and CV, type SEND (By 15/02/2024 at 17.00 pm);
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: the course is aimed at candidates for temporary work missions (both unemployed and jobless) registered and selected by the Employment Agency;
- for foreigners, knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if NOT certified;
- it is not required no specific knowledge in the photographic field;
- it is not required owning a reflex camera (Photographic equipment will be made available to students by the implementing body);
- is required a basic knowledge of general PC use.
SELECTION METHOD: Access to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:
- Correct submission of the required documentation;
- Analysis of the CV submitted;
- Motivational and skills evaluation interview to be carried out upon entry BY PHONE;
SELECTIONS: Those who have joined and correctly sent the documentation by 02/14/2024 will be contacted by telephone on 02/15/2024 (by 6:00 pm) to check your availability;
REGISTRATION: The selected candidates will be contacted by email and telephone (by 16/02/2024 at 18.00 pm) to attend the first day of the course. day 20/02/2024 09.30 am at the office in Via Santa Brigida 51 – Naples.

EXERCISES AND SIMULATIONS
Using the theoretical rules learned, participants will have to demonstrate in the virtual classroom that they understand and comprehend:
- MACHINE SETTING: using the “manual” mode will allow students to set the right settings for each type of brightness and scene;
- CHOOSING THE CORRECT LENS: depending on the scene, you will acquire the ability to identify the right lens for taking the shot;
- EXPOSURE: by using the internal and possibly external exposure meter, students will therefore be able to avoid underexposure and overexposure;
- FOCUSING: Choosing between manual focus or autofocus will allow you to learn how to always get sharp subjects.
- TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS: Once students have learned the basic techniques, they will independently take original photographs outside of class hours, which will be analyzed in the next module.
2.2
Image development, finalization of the advertising project
- Verification and analysis of photographs taken by students;
- Development of the photographic project and drafting of a storyboard in order to define the communication objectives;
- Image processing before and after the advent of digital;
- Differences between Raw and JPEG files. The digital negative: from the "raw" file to the image ready for processing in Photoshop;
- Exercise in developing Raw files;
- Getting Started with Photoshop. Managing the Interface;
- Adobe Photoshop CC tool basics. Image adjustments;
- The tools for correcting imperfections;
- The various selection tools. The various techniques starting from pre-production;
- Color to Black and White Conversion Methodology;
