"Nuove Frontiere Lavoro," in collaboration with the training organization "Idee Insieme" and thanks to the "Formatemp" fund, is offering a "Field Director Assistant - Equestrian Show Jumping" course in Naples.

The purpose of the course is to train the field staff who assist the Field Director, (also called “slope chef” or "course designer") during national show jumping and equestrian sporting events. The course, which is purely practical in nature, is held at the user company. THE KNIGHT COUNTRY CLUB SSD srl The organization will provide the equipment, tools, and spaces necessary for its efficient execution (fields, show jumping courses, horses, rooms, etc.). As this is an in-person course, COVID-19 health and safety regulations will be strictly observed.

During a show jumping competition, the Field Director must be supported by assistants capable of providing assistance and support. The specific content of this course focuses on the training of these assistants. They must be able to correctly interpret the setup and technical construction of the show jumping courses created by the “Chef de piste” and therefore intervene, if necessary, during a race, respecting the horse, rider and possible restoration of the course.

TARGETS: At the end of the course the assistant to the “chef de piste” will be able to:

  • Correctly interpret the show jumping courses technically created by the “Chef de piste” in compliance with the Regulations.
  • Identify the differences between “race field” and “test field”
  • Identify the main differences between building an indoor and outdoor course
  • Identify the main differences between a grass pitch and a sand pitch
  • Correctly adopt the intervention procedures indicated by the Field Director during the race with respect for the horse, rider and restoration of the course
  • Know the general principles of equine ethology, in order to identify the needs and instincts of horses
  • work as a TEAM during the race: collaborate and share goals.

    PRICE: the course is free (financed by Formatemp);

    DURATION: 32 hours from day JULY 12 to JULY 15, 2022 – 4 days of 8 hours;

    CERTIFICATE: attendance (minimum 70% of total hours including attendance at compulsory lessons);

    CLASSROOM LESSONS: from Tuesday to Friday from 09.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00 at the equestrian facility THE KNIGHT COUNTRY CLUB of via R.Ruggiero 219, Naples (Agnano);

    MEMBERSHIPS: To submit your application you must register on the website http://www.ideeinsieme.it/index.php/register | and, once you have uploaded your personal documents and CV, type SEND (By 08/07/2022 at 17.00 pm);

    PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: the course is aimed at candidates for temporary work assignments (both unemployed and out of work) registered and selected by the Employment Agency;

    - for foreigners, knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if NOT certified;

    SELECTION METHOD: Access to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:

    - Correct submission of the required documentation;

    - Analysis of the CV submitted;

    REGISTRATION: The selected candidates will be contacted by email and telephone (by 11/07/2022 at 18.00) to attend the first day of the course on 12/07/2022 at 09.00 in the classroom.
