"Nuove Frontiere Lavoro," in collaboration with the training organization "Idee Insieme" and thanks to the "Formatemp" fund, is publishing a free "English Language Receptionist Level B2.2" course on an online platform.
It is a course aimed at acquiring linguistic skills in English (B2.2) for the reception sector in hotel facilities, able to provide practical examples thanks to a careful structuring of the teaching modules.
Specifically, theReceptionist performs the following tasks:
- register guests in the facilities;
- provides accommodation services;
- assigns rooms and delivers the relevant keys;
- provides information on the services offered, etc.
The modules that distinguish the course offer content related to the following topics:
- knowledge of the English language for the acquisition of the four essential skills (SPEAKING, WRITING, LISTENING, READING) through the rules of grammar, syntax and phonetics appropriate to achieving the level B2.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference;
- acquisition of skills related to the figure of the Receptionist and more specifically, in written, face-to-face, and telephone communication with English-speaking clients. This includes particular attention to specific terminology, greeting methods, and general contact management.
- Use of digital tools and organizational skills. Among the main ones tools we find the CRM, which allows you to manage customer relationships and customize offers and rates, and the PMS, the management software that coordinates reservations, availability and daily operations.
TARGETS: At the end of the course, students will be able to manage English-speaking customers, acquiring the following skills:

"filling out forms and documents
"compilation of attendance registers
"customer complaint management
"access control to accommodation facilities
"control and custody of customer documents
" taking care of the room assignment
"provide information or assistance to the customer
The above is preparatory to another objective, that is, to achieve knowledge of the English language at the level B2.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference, in the four essential skills (SPEAKING, WRITING, LISTENING, READING) through the exploration of rules of grammar, syntax and phonetics appropriate to reaching the indicated level.
Students will have to practice listening, understanding and producing texts.
Multimedia tools will be used in the virtual classroom.
In order to ensure the most suitable preparation for the professional figure, each student will be guaranteed the acquisition of a lexicon (repertoire of words) linked to the context of reference.

DURATION: 168 hours Since the day May 11 to July 01, 2026 – 30 4-hour virtual classroom days and 6 8-hour virtual classroom days;
VIRTUAL CLASSROOM LESSONS: from 09.30 at 13.30 hours and for six days also from 14.00am to 18.00pm;
CERTIFICATE: of frequency Formattemp (minimum 70% of total hours including attendance at mandatory lessons);

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: the course is aimed at candidates for temporary work missions (both unemployed and jobless) registered and selected from the Employment Agency;
- for foreigners, knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if NOT certified;
- good knowledge of the English language at least level B1
- you need to have a desktop PC (desktop), laptop or tablet with stable cable connection (HIND) or wi-fi, webcam and microphone.
SELECTION METHOD: Access to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:
- Correct submission of the required documentation;
- Analysis of the CV submitted;
- Verification of connection devices to be carried out via video conference on 08/05/2026;
SELECTIONS: Those who have joined will be contacted by email for confirmation. (by 07/05/2026 at 12:00) of the verification of videoconferencing connection devices scheduled for the day 08/05/2026 from 10.30 am in a group;
REGISTRATION: The selected candidates will be contacted by email and telephone. (by 08/05/2026 at 8:00 PM) to attend the first day of the course day 11/05/2026 09.30 am on the online platform after sending the entry link.
PROFESSOR: The teacher chosen for the course, a graduate, in addition to boasting teaching experience in English language courses, is certified by AIM AWARDS-ANGLIA – recognized by the MIUR – Advanced Business English level (B2).
