The temporary employment agency "Adecco", in collaboration with the training organization "Adecco Formazione" in partnership with "Idee Insieme soc.coop.soc." and thanks to the "Formatemp" fund, publishes a Receptionist course in French level B1 (online) - Free
Among the professions listed by ISFOL, the Receptionist is the one listed. This position welcomes and registers guests at facilities; provides accommodation services; assigns rooms and hands out keys; provides information on the services offered; manages reservations and check-in and check-out procedures, keeps track of available rooms; and performs guest check-out procedures and prepares the relevant documentation.
The level identified is B1 which is recognised by the CEFR European Framework.
Specifically, the FRENCH-SPEAKING RECEPTION ASSISTANT falls within the professional economic sector of "tourist services", in the work process of "hospitality services" in the area of activity "Customer reception and assistance" specified as follows:

The course aims to provide the appropriate linguistic skills for professionals in the hospitality sector, following a guideline in line with that outlined by ISFOL/INAPP.
TARGETS: At the end of the course, students will be able to manage French-speaking customers, acquiring the following skills:

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: the course is aimed at candidates for temporary work missions (both unemployed and jobless) registered and selected by the Employment Agency ADECO;
- for foreigners, knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if NOT certified;
- you need to have a desktop PC (desktop), laptop or tablet with a stable wired connection, webcam and microphone;
- no prior knowledge is required previous knowledge of the French language;
SELECTION METHOD: Access to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:
- Correct submission of the required documentation;
- Analysis of the CV submitted;
- Check the connection devices to be carried out in videoconference;

Using grammatical and syntax rules, participants will practice developing the four essential skills:
READ: understand public communications; read short factual texts and demonstrate understanding of the content; demonstrate understanding of language structure.

Simulations in HOTEL
the class is divided In groups of two, one student plays the role of the receptionist and the other plays the role of the customer. Each group is given a handout beforehand that briefly summarizes the situation to be simulated. (request for information on prices, request for information on the services offered, specific customer needs, complaints, etc.). Conducted in turns, each simulation is observed by all students, prompted and corrected by the teacher, and discussed in plenary at the end.
