"Nuove Frontiere Lavoro", in collaboration with the training organization "Idee Insieme" and thanks to the "Formatemp" fund, is publishing a "Reception Assistant in German level A2" course on an online platform.

Among the professions indicated by ISFOL, the figure is indicated of the ReceptionistThis role welcomes and registers guests at the facilities; provides accommodation services; assigns rooms and hands out keys; provides information on the services offered; manages reservations and check-in and check-out procedures, keeps track of available rooms; and performs guest check-out procedures and prepares the relevant documentation.

ISFOL identifies the need for foreign languages ​​among the main areas of professional development expressed by companies and in 2018-2022 period, for the macro area indicated above, forecasts a variation in employment equal to 12,0%, a value above the average growth in the period (2,5%) (Source: Isfol-FGB elaborations).

Furthermore, despite the setback suffered for the Covid-19 pandemic, the growth of tourism in Italy by users coming from all over the world will generate a very high demand for this figure in order to have particularly trained personnel not only in the skills indicated above but contextualised to the linguistic field mentioned above (industry terminology, idioms, approach to that type of customer, etc.).

TARGETS: to train a professional figure who in German language be able to carry out activities with German customers and suppliers to manage the company's external communications. Specifically, this involves providing stakeholders with information about the company; proposing goods and services; requesting quotes; and managing orders.

In this perspective, the above-mentioned objective expresses skills in German in the management of telephone communications but also in person, as well as in the drafting of business letters considering the type of information that needs to be provided.

The above is preparatory to the achievement of another objective, that is, to achieve knowledge of the German language in level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference, in the four essential skills (LESE, SCHREIBEN, HOREN, SPRECHEN) through the exploration of rules of grammar, syntax and phonetics appropriate to reaching the indicated level.

The course is completed through the achievement of the objectives relating to the acquisition of the rights and duties of temporary workers and the general principles (general part) on health and safety in the workplace as provided for by the State-Regional Agreements

PRICE: the course is free (financed by Formatemp);

DURATION: 120 HOURS from day 23 November per day DECEMBER 23, 2022 – 14 days of 4 hours and 8 days of 8 hours in VIRTUAL CLASSROOM (online);

CERTIFICATE: of frequency (minimum 70% of total hours including attendance at mandatory lessons);

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM LESSONS: Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm 14.30am to 18.30pm and for eight days also from 09.30 13.30;

MEMBERSHIPS: To submit your application you must register on the website http://www.ideeinsieme.it/index.php/register | and, once you have uploaded your personal documents and CV, type SEND (by 11/21/2022 at 5:00 PM);

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: the course is aimed at candidates for temporary work missions (both unemployed and jobless) registered and selected from the Employment Agency;

- for foreigners, knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if NOT certified;
- basic knowledge of German;
- you need to have a desktop PC (desktop), laptop or tablet with a stable connection, webcam and microphone;

SELECTION METHOD: Access to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:

- Correct submission of the required documentation;
- Analysis of the CV submitted;
- Check the connection devices to be carried out in videoconference;

SELECTIONS: Those who have joined will be contacted by email for the confirmation (by 21/11/2022 at 6:00 PM) of the verification of videoconference connection devices scheduled for 22/11/2022 from 14.00 pm onwards in a group;

REGISTRATION: The selected candidates will be contacted by email and telephone. (by 22/11/2022 at 8:00 PM) to attend the first day of the course on the day November 23, 2022, 11:14.30 PM on the online platform after sending the entry link.

PROFESSOR: A graduate teacher in German languages ​​and literature working as an interpreter, she boasts significant experience gained between October 2013 and April 2014 at the SprachschuleAktiv, Munich (Germany) as a teacher of Italian to German students and of German to Italian students.

Using grammatical and syntax rules, participants will practice developing the four essential skills:

READ: Learn to read simple texts and find specific information in everyday materials, such as advertisements, programs, menus, and timetables. Learn to understand personal letters.

WRITE: Learn to take simple notes and write short messages on topics of immediate need. Learn to write personal letters.

HÖREN: Learn to understand frequently used expressions and words related to areas of immediate concern (for example, very basic personal and family information, shopping, local area, and employment). Learn to grasp the main point of short, simple, and clear messages and announcements.

SPEECH: learn to use a series of expressions and phrases to describe in simple terms one's family and other people, one's living conditions, one's educational background and one's current or most recent job.

Simulation in “HOTEL“

The class is divided into groups of two. In each group, one student plays the role of the receptionist and the other plays the role of the customer. Each group is given a handout beforehand that briefly summarizes the situation to be simulated (requesting information about the price, requesting information about the services offered, special customer needs, complaints, etc.). Each simulation is conducted in turns and observed by all students;
