"Nuove Frontiere Lavoro," in collaboration with the training organization "Idee Insieme" and thanks to the "Formatemp" fund, is publishing a free "Web Developer Front End and WordPress" course online.
In computer science, a web developer (or in English web developer) FRONT END, is a professional figure who deals with the development of websites, through the use of HTML, CSS3 and Javascript, and is responsible for developing web pages that are functional and usable.
Work in groups with figures such as web designer, webmaster, web content manager with which it should not be confused. The web developer often does not design the graphics of a site but mainly deals with the assembly, architecture and automation of a site.
Web development can mean the development of a simple static web page, or the development of the most complex websites how could it be an e-commerce siteA web developer can create any website, using the most suitable technologies on both the server-side and client-side.
The role of the web developer is becoming increasingly important thanks to the current trend of moving desktop applications to the web and allowing users to access their data regardless of their computer and location.
The course aims to provide the basic skills necessary to the creation and management of websites. This role is highly sought after by companies specializing in software development, communications agencies, and IT consulting firms as freelancers. In particular, work on the software, on the database and coding of a website, known as the back-end.
Specifically, the professional figure can perform the following tasks:
- Choose the right programming language to complete the project, based on your skills;
- Develop websites, designing the architecture, choosing the most appropriate development tools for the project, integrating graphics, audio and video;
- Running tests and simulations to evaluate the robustness, responsiveness, and security of the solutions developed;
- Identify bugs and/or problems in the management of websites or applications.
TARGETThe course aims to train a professional capable of creating and managing websites.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Check the HTML and CSS3 code of the pages;
- Control page behavior and user interaction using JavaScript
- Implement content management systems (CMS).
- Choose and adjust the graphic layout.
- Run tests and simulations to eliminate any bugs.
- Identify and correct technical problems.
To develop the skills listed, online lessons will be structured around real-world tasks, including case studies, simulations, and role-play. Collaborative discussions and reasoning will also be promoted to foster proximal development and foster attitudes of discussion and negotiation, essential personal qualities for successfully tackling the challenges of the role one aspires to.

DURATION: 140 hours from OCTOBER 16 - DECEMBER 1, 2023 - 31 total days of 4-hour virtual classroom and 2 8-hour days;
CERTIFICATE: attendance (min. 70% of total hours)
CLASSROOM LESSONS: the lessons are from Monday to Friday from 14.00am to 18.00pm;

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: the course is aimed at candidates for temporary work missions (both unemployed and jobless) registered and selected by the Employment Agency;
- for foreigners, knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if NOT certified;
- you need a desktop PC, laptop, or tablet with a stable connection, webcam, and microphone;
SELECTION METHOD: Access to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:
- Correct submission of the required documentation;
- Analysis of the CV submitted;
- Check the connection devices to be carried out in videoconference;
SELECTIONS: Those who have joined will be contacted by email for confirmation (by 11/10/2023 at 18.00) of the verification of the videoconference connection devices foreseen on 10/12/2023 from 14.30 pm, in a group.
REGISTRATION: The selected candidates will be contacted by email and telephone (by 13/10/2023 at 18.00) to attend the first day of the course on 16/10/2023 at 14.00 on the online platform after sending the entry link.
