"Nuove Frontiere Lavoro", in collaboration with the training organization "Idee Insieme", publishes a UI Design course with Figma – Free on the online platform and funded by the Forma.Temp fund.
UI Designers work in the field of digital product and service design, overseeing user interface design. Based on the brief and requirements received, they structure the content to be represented in the interface, design wireframes and prototypes, creating all required screens, and verifying their functionality through usability testing. They integrate ergonomics, accessibility, and Universal Design principles into their design to ensure a fully accessible user experience for all types of users. They design mock-ups to illustrate the product's features, functionality, and usage to the end user, produce digital communication content, and define the tools and channels for presenting the product to external users. They work primarily as a freelancer or within design studios, communications agencies, and software companies.
The course aims to provide specialized skills related to the strategic planning, technical design, methodological structuring, and financial engineering phases of European project planning. The indicated units of competence refer to three of the expected results, the last of which partially relates to ADA.24.05.03. - Project management , the sequence (Strategic planning, production programming and control), and the process (Management of the production process, quality, technical functions, and internal logistics) of the Atlas of Work.
The indicated educational objectives will be achieved through specific activities such as:
- Solution design (information architecture definition, wireframe prototyping, usability testing)
- User experience optimization (integration of product design in relation to ergonomics, accessibility, integration of product design in relation to universal design principles)
- Communication (design, mock-ups, creation of digital communication content).
OBJECTIVE: At the end of the course the participant will be able to:
- Intervene in the design of the digital product, ensuring the use of Universal Design criteria and User Experience optimization.
- Manage communication regarding the features and use of the digital product, including the design of mock-ups and interactive prototypes, ensuring their suitability (correctness, completeness, effectiveness, availability, etc.).
