Of Figure advertising photographer It is generally found within large companies, advertising firms or graphic design studios. The advertising photographer must have skills in photographic techniques and knowledge of visual arts, in addition to an innate creative spirit.
Goals: The course's goal is to train highly specialized professionals capable of successfully completing an advertising photography project from the initial stage to publication. Photographers must therefore possess advanced knowledge of professional photography, the ability to source materials, set up and manage a photo shoot, and develop an image through to the completion of the advertising project.
ISFOL data They identify among the professional skills of a photographer the ability to photograph people, environments, objects, commercial products for artistic, documentary and advertising purposes.
Photographers develop negatives, perform photo retouching and manipulation of the acquired images and print the photographs taken, inspect, maintain and operate electronic and optical equipment and systems.
At the end of the course the advertising graphic designer will be able to:
- Apply the fundamental techniques of advertising photography and photographic development;
- Set up and manage a photographic set;
- Creating an advertising image
Specifically, students will have acquired the ability to:
"recapture people and environments;
"realize still life of products to be marketed;
"create product images for e-commerce;
"plan an advertising campaign, create the images, identify the claim
"post-produce the images created;
"prepare files for successful printing;
"know the regulations protecting privacy and copyright of images;
"identify the right compensation for the work performed;
"photographing objects of different materials (glass, reflective objects, metals);
"analyze and identify the strengths of an advertising image;
"transmit the advertising message unambiguously to the identified target.
Students will practice taking photographs as assigned by the instructor. The equipment typically found in a photography studio will be used in the classroom.Funding Body: Formattemp

DURATION: 148 HOURS from February 10th to April 24th 2020 – 4-hour classroom days; (one 8-hour one)
CERTIFICATE: of frequency (min. 70% of total hours)
CLASSROOM LESSONS: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 5pm 14.00 pm 18.00 (for the first part of the course) from 09.30 13.30 (second part of the course) only one day is planned from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm 09.30 13.30 and by 14.00 18.00.

REGISTRATION: Those who have joined and sent the documentation correctly will be contacted by email for confirmation. (By 05/02/2020 at 5:00 PM) and will be called for the collective interview at the headquarters scheduled for 02/06/20;
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: the course is aimed at candidates for temporary work missions (both employed and unemployed) registered and selected by the Employment Agency.
No specific photography knowledge is required. Ownership of a reflex camera is not required. (Photographic equipment will be made available to students by the implementing body);

- Analysis of the CV submitted;
- Motivational and skills assessment interview upon entry to be held at our office;

EXERCISES AND SIMULATIONS
Using the theoretical rules learned, participants will practice taking photographs that will allow them to implement their skills. In particular, maximum attention will be paid to the following operational phases:
- MACHINE SETTING: using the machine in “manual” mode, avoiding all automatic functions, will allow students to set the right settings for each type of brightness and scene;
- CHOOSING THE CORRECT LENS: depending on the scene, you will acquire the ability to identify the right lens for taking the shot;
- EXPOSURE: Using the internal and, if necessary, external light meter, students will create images with the right amount of light; they will therefore be able to avoid underexposure and overexposure.
- FOCUS: Choosing between manual focus or autofocus will help you learn how to always get sharp subjects.

Image development, finalization of the advertising project
- Graphic design development and storyboard creation to define communication objectives;
- Setting up a photographic set in a classroom equipped with panels, photographic frames and umbrellas, digital SLR cameras mounted on tripods, flash banks;
- Photo shoots;
- Verification and analysis of the photos taken;
- Overview of graphics software; (Graphic development program interface; Image adjustment, curves and tonal levels; Brush tools, clone stamp and masks; Color profiles and print preparation; Image processing)
- Compensation evaluation,
The module features practical exercises in which the class is divided into groups. Specifically, depending on the type of project chosen, the appropriate medium for reproducing the work will be identified; a draft will then be created, and, following the correction phase, the students will proceed with the creation and publication of the project.
