For ISFOL, this figure is among the professions belonging to the class "General Affairs Workers", part of the group "Executive Professions in Office Work".
As ISFOL states, this profession carries out and supports individual aspects of the planning, design, administration, and management procedures of a company or organization by performing non-managerial tasks.
For the 2014-2018 period, the employment rate for the "Secretarial and General Affairs" professional category is expected to increase by 1,3%, above the average growth rate for the period (-0,4%). The employment base is therefore expected to increase by 15.571. Total labor demand is expected to amount to 483.984 hires, of which 468.412 are to replace outgoing workers and 15.571 are to increase the employment stock (SOURCE: ISFOL-FGB).
Given that IT skills are highly sought after for this position, to enhance employability, an exam is required to obtain the EIPASS certification for the modules covered in the IT module. Students will take the exam at no cost to themselves at the implementing body, IDEE INSIEME Soc. Coop., accredited as an EI CENTER (an authorized testing center for EIPASS IT certifications). Those who pass the exam will receive the relevant certification.
Learning outcomesThe training program's objectives address the main areas of professional development identified by ISFOL, taking into account the needs expressed by businesses for the entire professional class, such as: office work; economics and accounting; business and management; IT and electronics; and customer and personal services.
The goal is therefore to train professionals capable of covering a broad spectrum of functions, from typical secretarial tasks (computer, telephone, fax, and email), to more complex tasks using office automation tools, such as managing payment orders, internal accounting operations (handling delivery notes and invoicing), data entry and processing, client portfolio management, procedure activation, information acquisition, processing, and transmission, and document transcription and proofreading.
