The course is based on the need to expand intersectoral employment opportunities through the acquisition of language skills. The course is taught by a teacher with specific experience in teaching English.

ObjectivesThe course enables students to acquire the following skills: Listening – recognizing familiar words and simple expressions relating to themselves, their family, and their immediate environment. Interaction – asking and answering questions on familiar topics and routine activities. Spoken production – using simple expressions and sentences to describe where they live and people, their job, their educational background, and living conditions. Written production – filling in forms with personal information, taking simple notes, and writing short messages.

COST: free (funded by Forma temp)

DURATION: 100 HOURS from 12 NOVEMBER to 16 DECEMBER 2019 – the classroom day will be 4 hours long;

CERTIFICATE: attendance (min. 70% of total hours);

CLASSROOM LESSONS: Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 13.30 pm;

REGISTRATION: Those who have joined they will be contacted by email (By 06/11/2019 at 5:00 PM) of the interview scheduled for November 07th and/or 08th from 14.00 pm onwards.
Subsequently, EVERYONE will be notified by email (by 11/11/19) of the results of the selections to start lessons on the first day, i.e. 12/11/19.

SELECTION METHODAccess to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:
- Correct submission of the required documentation;
- Analysis of the CV submitted;
- Motivational interview and assessment of entry skills, to be carried out at our office in Via Santa Brigida, 51 - Naples;

TEACHERThe teacher chosen for the course, a graduate, in addition to boasting teaching experience in teaching English language courses, is certified by AIM AWARDS-ANGLIA – recognised by the MIUR – Advanced Business English level (B2).

EXERCISES AND SIMULATIONS

Using grammatical and syntax rules, participants will practice developing the four essential skills:

READING: understand public communications; read short factual texts and demonstrate understanding of the content; demonstrate understanding of language structure.

WRITING: use words appropriately and accurately in different written contexts and be able to produce variations on simple sentences.

LISTENING: understand, by listening to short statements, the meaning of the dialogue in order to extract factual information (times, dates, etc.), show appreciation of the speakers' attitudes and intentions.

SPEAKING: interact in situations that simulate authentic communication to ask and understand questions and give appropriate answers; speak freely to express emotions, reactions, etc.; greet people and respond to greetings (in person and on the phone); introduce oneself; ask for and provide personal details; help others express their ideas by interrupting a conversation; start a new topic, change the subject, resume, or continue the topic
