"Nuove Frontiere Lavoro", in collaboration with the training organization "Idee Insieme" and thanks to the "Formatemp" fund, is publishing an "Editorial Graphics with InDesign" course on an online platform.
With the advent of the web and new technologies, a variety of editorial design tools have emerged , enabling the development of new publishing concepts. These have found an ideal fit with online publishing, which has allowed anyone to create their own online magazine, publish their own e-book, or editorial project , and, at times, even develop original print concepts.
Thus, genre publications emerged that required the ability to develop ideas with specific software . A new professional figure was thus created: the editorial graphic designer or graphic designer for developing graphics for publishing.
Editorial design is the process of creating an attractive, yet above all functional, clear, unique, and legible layout. It has a significant impact on the way information is presented.
The editorial designer works on the magazine or book until it's delivered to the printer. They communicate with clients, advertisers , IT technicians, and printers, ensuring the product reaches the printer perfectly. The editorial designer's work isn't limited to just thinking and coordinating; they must also utilize technical skills to ensure everything is perfect.
