"Nuove Frontiere Lavoro," in collaboration with the training organization "Idee Insieme" and thanks to the "Formatemp" fund, is publishing a "Basic French" course online.
The training course “Basic French” aims to provide basic language skills corresponding to level A1, the first of the six-level assessment scale of the CEFR, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
TARGETS: The course allows you to acquire the following skills:
- listening - recognize familiar words and simple expressions relating to oneself, one's family and one's immediate environment.
- Interaction - ask and answer questions on familiar topics and routine activities.
- Oral production - use simple expressions and sentences to describe where you live and the people you meet, your job, your educational background and your living conditions.
- Written production - fill out forms with personal data, take simple notes and write short messages.
Students will practice listening, comprehension, and text production. Multimedia tools will be used in the virtual classroom.

PRICE: the course is free (financed by Formatemp);
DURATION: 108 HOURS from day OCTOBER 20 to DECEMBER 22, 2025 – 27 4-hour days in the VIRTUAL CLASSROOM (online);
CERTIFICATE: of frequency (minimum 70% of total hours including attendance at mandatory lessons);
VIRTUAL CLASSROOM LESSONS: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 15.00 pm to 19.00 pm;
MEMBERSHIPS: To submit your application you must register on the website http://www.ideeinsieme.it/index.php/register | and, once you have uploaded your personal documents and CV, type SEND (By 16/10/2025 at 17.30 pm);
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: The course is aimed at candidates for temporary work missions (both unemployed and jobless) registered and selected by theEmployment Agency;
- for foreigners, knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if NOT certified;
- you need a desktop PC, laptop, or tablet with a stable connection, webcam, and microphone;
SELECTION METHOD: Access to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:
- Correct submission of the required documentation;
- Analysis of the CV submitted;
- Check the connection devices to be carried out in videoconference;
SELECTIONS: Those who have joined will be contacted by email for confirmation (by 16/10/2025 at 18.00) of the verification of the videoconference connection devices foreseen for day 17/10/2025 from 10.30 am then in a group;
REGISTRATION: The selected candidates will be contacted by email and telephone (by 17/10/2025 at 18.00 pm) to attend the first day of the course. day 20/10/2025 15.00 am on the online platform after sending the entry link.

EXERCISES AND SIMULATIONS
Using the grammatical rules, syntax, and vocabulary learned, participants will practice developing the four essential skills:
READ: understand public communications; read short factual texts and demonstrate understanding of the content; demonstrate understanding of language structure.
WRITING: use words appropriately and accurately in different written contexts and be able to produce variations on simple sentences.
ECOUTER: understand, by listening to short statements, the meaning of the dialogue in order to extract factual information (times, dates, etc.), show appreciation of the speakers' attitudes and intentions.
SPEAKER: interact in situations that simulate authentic communication to ask and understand questions and give appropriate answers; speak freely to express emotions, reactions, etc.; greet people and respond to greetings (in person and on the phone); introduce oneself; ask for and provide personal details; help others express their ideas by interrupting a conversation; initiate a new topic, change the subject, resume, or continue the topic.
