"Nuove Frontiere Lavoro", in collaboration with the training organization "Idee Insieme" and thanks to the "Formatemp" fund, is publishing a "Basic German" course on an online platform.

The course stems from the need to expand intersectoral employment opportunities through the acquisition of language skills. The course is taught by a teacher with particular experience in teaching German and aims to provide the basic language skills corresponding to the level A1, first on the six-level rating scale of the CEFR, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

TARGETS: The course enables students to acquire the following skills: Listening – Recognizing familiar words and simple expressions relating to oneself, one's family, and one's immediate surroundings. Interaction – Asking and answering questions on familiar topics and routine activities. Spoken Production – Using simple expressions and sentences to describe where one lives and people, one's job, one's educational background, and living conditions. Written Production – Filling in forms with personal information, taking simple notes, and writing short messages.

At the end of the course, students will be able to hold short conversations in German, acquiring the following skills:

"have a simple conversation with people who speak slowly and clearly

"understand and use everyday expressions

"introducing yourself and others

"ask other people questions

"answer simple questions

"order at the restaurant

"talk about recreational activities

"describe a place

"describe a dwelling

"talk about holidays

"give directions

Students will practice listening, comprehension, and production of texts. Multimedia tools will be used in the virtual classroom.

PRICE: the course is free (financed by Formatemp);

DURATION: 120 hours Since the day 18 March per day APRIL 29, 2026 – 30 days from 4 hours in the VIRTUAL CLASSROOM (Online);

CERTIFICATE: of frequency (minimum 70% of total hours including attendance at mandatory lessons);

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM LESSONS: from Monday to Friday from 09.30am to 13.30pm;

MEMBERSHIPS: To submit your application you must register on the website http://www.ideeinsieme.it/index.php/register | and, once you have uploaded your personal documents and CV, type SEND (By 16/03/2026 at 17.00 pm);

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: the course is aimed at candidates for temporary work missions (both unemployed and jobless) registered and selected by the Employment Agency;

- for foreigners, knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if NOT certified;
- you need to have a desktop PC (desktop), laptop or tablet with a stable wired connection (HIND) or wi-fi, webcam and microphone;

SELECTION METHOD: Access to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:
- Correct submission of the required documentation;
- Analysis of the CV submitted;
- Check the connection devices to be carried out in videoconference;

SELECTIONS: Those who have joined will be contacted by email for confirmation. (by 16/03/2026 at 12:00) of the verification of videoconferencing connection devices scheduled for the day March 17, 2026, from 03:10.30 a.m. onwards in a group;

REGISTRATION: The selected candidates will be contacted by email and telephone. (by 17/03/2026 at 8:00 PM) to attend the first day of the course on the day 18/03/2026 at 09.30 on the online platform after sending of the entry link.

EXERCISES AND SIMULATIONS

Using grammatical and syntax rules, participants will practice developing the four essential skills:

READ: understand public communications; read short factual texts and show understanding of the content; demonstrate understanding of language structure

WRITE: use words appropriately and accurately in different written contexts and be able to produce variations on simple sentences.

HÖREN: understand, by listening to short statements, the meaning of the dialogue in order to extract factual information (times, dates, etc.), show appreciation of the speakers' attitudes and intentions.

SPEECH: interact in situations that simulate authentic communication to ask and understand questions and give appropriate answers; speak freely to express emotions, reactions, etc.; greet people and respond to greetings (in person and on the phone); introduce oneself; ask for and provide personal details; help others express their ideas by interrupting a conversation; start a new topic, change the subject, resume, or continue the topic
