Free WordPress Web Developer Course (Online)

There are currently around 200 million websites online, 43,1% of which use Wordpress (Source: https://w3techs.com/).The role of the web developer is becoming increasingly important thanks to the current trend of moving desktop applications to the web and allowing users to access their data regardless of their computer and location.

The course aims to train a professional figure capable of creating and managing websites

made with WordpressIn addition to the theoretical aspects necessary to understand the architecture of this CMS, the lessons will have a highly practical focus: the development of a web project will be proposed, allowing students to address all the design and implementation aspects involved in creating a website. Particular attention will be paid to the security aspects of a WordPress website, analyzing potential vulnerabilities and understanding the actions needed to resolve and/or mitigate them.

TARGETS: At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Understanding and installing WordPress on a domain;
• Install and manage a theme using a builder;
• Implement plugins within the website;
• Building SEO and HTML5 semantics;
• Perform safety tests and simulations;
• Web traffic analysis and monitoring.

To develop the skills listed, online lessons will be structured around real-world tasks, including case studies, simulations, and role-play. Collaborative discussions and reasoning will also be promoted to foster proximal development and foster attitudes of discussion and negotiation, essential personal qualities for successfully tackling the challenges of the role one aspires to.

PRICE: the course is free (financed by Formatemp);

DURATION: 140 HOURS Since the day 30 June per day 1 AUGUST 2024 – 15 days of VIRTUAL CLASSROOM (Online) from 4 hours and 10 from 8 hours;

CERTIFICATE: of frequency (minimum 70% of total hours including attendance at mandatory lessons);

VIRTUAL CLASSROOM LESSONS: Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm 09.30 at 13.30 hours for 15 days and for ten also from 14.00am to 18.00pm;

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: the course is aimed at candidates for temporary work missions (both unemployed and jobless) registered and selected by the Employment Agency;

- for foreigners, knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if NOT certified;
- you need to have a desktop PC (desktop), laptop or tablet with a stable wired connection, webcam and microphone;

SELECTION METHOD: Access to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:
- Correct submission of the required documentation;
- Analysis of the CV submitted;
- Check the connection devices to be carried out in videoconference;

SELECTIONS: Those who have joined will be contacted by email for confirmation. (by 26/06/2025 at 12:00) of the verification of videoconferencing connection devices scheduled for the day January 27, 2025, from 06:10.30 a.m. then in a group;
