"Nuove Frontiere Lavoro," in collaboration with the training organization "Idee Insieme" and thanks to the "Formatemp" fund, is publishing an online course in "Graphic Designer for Image Editing with Dimension."
The professional figure of the Advertising graphic designer They typically work within large communications agencies, publishing houses, or graphic design studios. Graphic designers must possess a wide range of skills, including the development, management, and creation of images for use in various communication fields.
Course objective is to train a highly specialized figure capable of managing the process of editing of images for both print and online website; know how to use and optimize image formats for use in cross-platform projects.
To produce photographic montages impactful and create advanced three-dimensional prototypes to promote products of all kinds.
Al graphic knowledge of specific software and advanced techniques is therefore required to manage the editing of images throughout the production of a communication project, whether editorial or digital.
At the end of the course the advertising graphic designer will be able to:
- apply the fundamental techniques of image editing in the development of communication projects both in print and on the web;
- manage various image formats with awareness;
- create professional images for use across various media;
- create graphics for packaging design;
- build prototypes and three-dimensional sets for product promotion through packaging;
- leverage artificial intelligence to enhance your design.
Specifically, students will have acquired the ability to:
- resolve issues related to image format, resolution, and color mode;
- professionally cut out any subject;
- create impactful photomontages;
- create carousels and animated advertising GIFs for use on social media;
- create vector graphics for product packaging;
- produce two-dimensional packaging prototypes;
- create prototypes and three-dimensional sets;
- apply materials, graphics and lights to three-dimensional objects;
- use Photoshop, Illustrator and Dimension simultaneously for a consistent and productive workflow;
- know the regulations for the protection of privacy and copyright of images;
- know how to write a work brief;
- manage customer relationships;
- identify adequate compensation for the work performed;
- draw up an employment contract;
- understand how to use artificial intelligence to optimize your work.

DURATION: 136 HOURS Since the day 26 May per day July 11 2025 – 34 days of VIRTUAL CLASSROOM (Online) da 4 hours;
CERTIFICATE: of frequency (minimum 70% of total hours including attendance at mandatory lessons);

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS: the course is aimed at candidates for temporary work missions (both unemployed and jobless) registered and selected by the Employment Agency;
- for foreigners, knowledge of the Italian language and grammar, even if NOT certified;
- you need to have a desktop PC (desktop), laptop or tablet with a stable connection, webcam and microphone;
SELECTION METHOD: Access to the course will take place through several preliminary steps:
- Correct submission of the required documentation;
- Analysis of the CV submitted;

Image editing
Introduction to Raster Graphics with Photoshop: Understand raster graphics, discover the differences between various image formats, manage resolution based on usage needs, understand saving methods for consistent and professional work.
The images on Photoshop: Color modes, formats, layout, and the main tools. Guides, layout guides, and layers. Simple and complex selections, loading automatic selections, and evaluating their usability. The main panels.
Editing with Photoshop: Create simple and compound paths, manage paths and selections. Create and manage clipping masks. Color correction methods. Create and use brushes. Cut out images, cut out hair. Compose simple and complex photomontages. Create 2D mockups and animated GIFs.
Vector graphics with Illustrator: Learn vector graphics, manage formats, guides, and multi-page documents. Draw retraces, create and use brushes, and blend vector and raster graphics.
Editing with Illustrator: Creating patterns and textures. Designing and creating packaging graphics. Working with gradients and blends. Image tracing and dynamic painting. Producing 3D elements and preparing objects for processing in Dimension.
The export: techniques for producing professional PDFs for printing and exports for digital communication.
2.2
The 3D construction
Creating a 3D model with Dimension: Introduction to Dimension, the workspace, and parametric models. Generating and working with 3D models. Applying materials and managing selections. Fills and decals.
Creating a 3D set with Dimension: Generate 3D text graphics, manage lighting, create compositions with multiple objects. Work on three-dimensional sets, exploit photographic environments, and produce renderings.
Advanced Dimension Features: design graphics with Illustrator, transform them into 3D with Dimension and process the results with Photoshop.
Client and compensation management: How to relate to clients, define a work plan by creating a brief, learn how to compose a brief, evaluate work schedules, establish a fair compensation, and draft a contract.
Firefly and Adobe Express: Further processing in Adobe Firefly, enhancing 2D and 3D models with the help of artificial intelligence, creating reference images by generating prompts, blending the results with previously created graphics, creating videos. An overview of Adobe Express services, enhancing your documents and preparing them for quick sharing.
